Using Cohorts to Help Analyze Data
Cohorts allow you to create a subset of people in your reporting that can then be used for all reports. For example, you may create a cohort of all the converters in New York, or a cohort of all the converters who have lead value greater than $500. Then, you can review attribution for just that group.
Here is how to set up a Cohort in LeadsRx.
- Hover over the name of your account at the top of any page and select SETTINGS.
- When the option for COHORTS flies out, select it.
- Click CREATE A NEW COHORT.
- Give it a description and decide if you'd like it to be seen by everyone or just you.
- Select if you'd like to have the visitors to be dynamically or manually selected in the Cohort Type. You can always add visitors manually to a dynamically created cohort.
- Add values in the Overview section to create the rules for the cohort selection.
7. Click SAVE.
Once the cohort is created you may edit it later as well.
Now that you've created a cohort, you will see the cohort appear as an option in the top right of the screen if the report is available for that cohort. Select the Use a Cohort option in the pull-down menu to use the cohort as a sub-set for analysis.
