Information Collected by the LeadsRx Universal Pixel
The following anonymous data is collected by the Universal Pixel once it is placed on a website:
- The referring URL (if any) that directed the visitor to the destination website where the Universal Pixel has been installed
- The destination URL on the site where the Universal Pixel has been installed including all query string parameters
- The visitor's time zone as defined within their web browser settings
- The current time of day and date
- The visitor's User Agent string as defined by their web browser, which often includes information identifying the type of browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.), the version of browser, the type of hardware used (e.g., a mobile device, a desktop computer, etc.), the type and version of operating system, and certain browser settings
- The IP address of the visitor which is then used to determine the likely geographic location of the visitor
- The title of the webpage visited
- The value of the LeadsRx cookie, called _lab, which is a unique value for the browser and device used to visit the website
- For automotive websites, the value of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), if present on the webpage being visited
At the option of the client, additional information can be sent to the LeadsRx system for storage and further processing. The exact data and type of information is completely determined by the client and not by LeadsRx.
