Including or Excluding Traffic from Certain Countries

There may be situations where you wish to be specific about which countries should or should not count towards attribution in your account. For example, if you only market to the United States and Canada,  you might want to only look at traffic from these two countries. If your reach is global, but you don't sell in certain countries, or find you get fraudulent click activity from some countries, you may want to block them explicitly. You do not need to do both, so choose the option that is a shorter list.

Either of these options is possible and is found within the ACCOUNT section under the gear icon at the top of any screen.

If there are only certain parts of the world from which you wish to track traffic, you may add those countries individually. For example, if you only market to North America and wish to only see traffic from there, you may choose to accept traffic from the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Choose Specific Countries

1. Choose ACCOUNT under the gear icon at the top of any page.
2. Select the OPTIONS tab.
3. Under the section called Traffic and Conversion Tracking, go to Countries to Accept.
4. In the text box, begin to type in the name of the country you wish to include in your attribution tracking.
5. Select the country when it appears and hit ENTER.
6. Individually add each country that you wish to accept.
7. Make sure to click SAVE at the bottom right of the page before leaving or changing tabs.

If you market globally except for a few countries, or if you see suspicious traffic from certain countries, you can instead choose to exclude that list of countries.

Exclude Specific Countries

1. Choose ACCOUNT from your company drop down at the top of any page.
2. Select the OPTIONS tab.
3. Under the section called Traffic and Conversion Tracking, go to Countries to Block.
4. In the text box, begin to type in the name of the country you wish to exclude from your attribution tracking.
5. Select the country when it appears and hit ENTER.
6. Individually add each country that you wish to block.
7. Make sure to click SAVE at the bottom right of the page before leaving or changing tabs.
